TV actress Daljeet Kaur has called it quits with husband Shaleen Bhanot after five years of marriage.
Apparently, Daljeet took Shaleen to the cops on November 30 after he allegedly assaulted her. She has moved out of their house along with their one-year-old son.
Said a friend of the couple, “Shaleen is a very short-tempered guy and there have been incidences of physical abuse. In the past too, after a few months of their son’s delivery, Daljeet, along with the toddler, had moved out of his home and stayed with her parents in Bengaluru.
However, the two reconciled and she returned to Mumbai. But things reached a head this time around and she registered a police complaint against him.”
When asked about legal separation, the friend added, “She is in a state of shock and hasn't decided on it, but legal proceedings will follow soon.”
