This is an excerpt from an interview with Pauline Matt, founder of the Blackfeet Women Against Fracking. Portions of this interview will be used in a documentary about fracking on the Blackfeet Reservation.

The Blackfeet Fracking Project [UNTITLED] is a documentary about hydraulic fracturing, or "fracking", on the Blackfeet Reservation located in North Central Montana, south of the Canadian border and east of the Rocky Mountains.

One million of the reservation's 1.5 million acres have been leased to oil and gas companies for drilling and fracking.

The project will explore the complexities, conflicts, and effects of fracking on Native Lands. It is not just a story about fracking, but also about the culture, spirituality, economics on the reservation, and way of life of Native Americans.
