"The time has expired" .... Jesus fucking christ!!! Who the fuck cares! Reset the fucking timer! Fuck!!!
god damn why does everyone in congress look like a hollow from dark souls?
I would remind Mr Sherman that the changes from capitalism and a free market have resulted in his country's typical wealth per head of population fall from number 1 in the 1950's to something near 20th. So many things are wrong in the financial and business policies of congress and especially in the case of housing cost subsidisation which has dramatically failed and resembled a catastrophy which was "unseen" by congress. Has he got his head stuck in the sand. As for Mr Cleaver - he is just failing to grasp simple concepts which doen't make him look Mr Clever.  Seems the only ones with any understanding and ability to understand and take issues on board are Pagliari and maybe Stivers.
Conress is supposed to have the nations best financial brains to get advice from. There is however a problem in having good information available to these people. The problem is they are too ill informed and lack the personal  ability to know whom to listen to. This is a prime illustration of the lack of thinking that takes place in congress. One or more congress morons having an enquiry because one of their programs has failed, like Fanny and Freddy and then asking for help so they go about justifying why it was needed and acting as if they didn't need help and they knew how to run it. How Stupid are they? They are trying to justify a failed program they didn't know how too run and won't take help. They will fail again as sure as day follows night. I can see why they still fall for the same bailout stupidity which robs them and their fellow countrymen of wealth and will undermine their efforts to rebuild their economy. What is also evident is the certainty of how easily those institutions who control most of the world 's wealth will sell them down the tube and sink them.

I can't believe some of these people are intelligent enough to win a seat in congress.

That Sherman hot-head reminds me of my writing professor. "...In an Ayn Rand Novel" DAMN RIGHT! He's making something free and voluntary seem hostile and despicable. It is easy in this situation to see just how welfare-minded some politicians and socialists are. But this is why the Second Amendment is so important, because if someone ever tries to force me to be charitable against my will, I will need to defend myself. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being charitable, just as long as you don't coerce others into doing it, especially if you aren't doing it yourself (hypocrisy).

i love how the congressmen/women are asking for "specific steps" to address the housing crisis by "specific steps" they mean expanding the FHA but Schiff's specific step is to dismantle the FHA....selective hearing at it's finest
William Smith
It is amazing how ignorant our congress is really sad.
Yep! But they had a BILL, ooooohhhhh!
