The session is one of a series of livelihood sharing sessions behind hosted by Livelihoods MANTHAN. Livelihoods MANTHAN (Management Academic Network for Transforming Human resources through Action and kNowledge) is a consortium of management institutions and civil society organizations across India. The objective of the consortium is to help the states in identifying the capacity building needs for implementing the National Rural Livelihoods Mission, develop training modules, tools and techniques and use them to enhance the capacity of the project staff in livelihood promotion. The Livelihood Sharing Sessions are seen as a field building exercise that will inform development practitioners and academicians about contemporary challenges in livelihoods by reputed livelihood practitioners.
