Spinosaurus lived in North Africa. Irritator whose fossils were found in Brazil is closely related to Spinosaurus. Both of them have similar upper front teeth and the sail on their back. Baryonyx and Suchomimus also have physical resemblance of which they have huge claws on their thumbs. All four dinosaurs are in the family of Spinosauridae.
Spinosaurus which is biggest among four probably inhabited on the riverside or near the lake. One of the diets of Spinosaurus might be large fish such as Mawsonia which was like a Coelacanth. Herbivorous Nigersaurus has very distinctive front teeth. Nigersaurus lived in North Africa during the late cretaceous period, approximately 98million years ago. Carcharodontosaurus was a carnivore and lived in same region and same period of time as Nigersaurus. Spinosaurus was the largest carnivorous dinosaur ever found, about 18m in length. Even Carcharodontosaurus could be intimidated by Spinosaurus.
