About Sewing Studio:
Have you always wanted to learn how to sew? Tired of store bought clothes that don't fit you right? Are you a seamster who already loves to sew?

From New York City, the fashion capital of the world, Sewing Studio teaches you everything you need to know to be able to create fun and fabulous sewing projects. Because this class covers a wide range of skills, Sewing Studio is designed for both the person who has never sewn on a button before and for the person who wants to take her skills to the next, more professional level. To create a solid foundation, you will first learn the ins and outs of how a sewing machine works. This will enable you to have a positive working relationship with your sewing machine, making sewing fun and stress-free. In addition to learning all about the sewing machine, Sewing Studio covers topics ranging from how to follow a sewing pattern to seam finishes to tailoring & fit.

About Diana Rupp:
Diana Rupp comes from a background rich in sewing and innovation. Dubbed the "youthful doyenne of sewing" by the New York Times and a "craft world luminary" by the Huffington Post, Diana has gone from a novice sewing on her childhood Singer machine to an accomplished educator, author and entrepreneur. Originally from California, Diana now lives and sews in the fashion capital of the world, New York City. In 2002, Diana opened her fashion-forward sewing studio Make Workshop on the Lower East Side, offering a wide array of classes, workshops and sewing materials. In between classes, Diana has written two acclaimed books, Sew Everything Workshop and Embroider Everything Workshop. To top it all off, Diana has her very own line of commercial patterns from the sewing heavyweight McCall's.
