Undershaw is the former home of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle - the creator of Sherlock Holmes. It is located in Hindhead, Surrey, England. Currently the house is under threat from unsympathetic redevelopment which would result in the house being vertically divided into 3 terraced houses. For the past 4 years it has been left derelict, and the rain and elements allowed to damage the interior.
The Undershaw Preservation Trust was set up to protect the house.
