Thanks to opening some boxes that had remained closed for some 8 years or so i found some more recordings i made over the years.
This track comes from a spontaneous session one night at the home of former co-founder of our band BOOTLEG: Gerrit van Berkum, back in december of 1999. Hope you like it! I do!! It's a very honest and beautiful song that was recorded by The Boss himself for his wonderful acoustic solo-album 'Nebraska' years ago.

So, now i can tell you that it was recorded exactly on 8th december 1999. Gerrit just had bought some new digital recording device that he also brought to our 'Homegrown Tomatoes' and 'De Keijser' rehearsals.
Thanks to that device i was able to put up the superb version of my ownpenned 'Till i know you're feeling okay' (recorded while reheasing for our Homegrown Tomatoes) on my 2nd CD in 2002.

The little session of the 8th of december 1999 Gerrit recorded my solo-versions of the following songs:
1. Texas 1947 (Guy Clark)
2. Marie (Townes van Zandt)
3. The Sound in your mind (Willie Nelson)
4. Write your own songs (Willie Nelson)
5. Used Cars (Bruce Springsteen)

NOTE: 'Marie' was used by my friend and former BOOTLEG-guitarist Dick Zoeteweij to add all kinds of stuff and sounds on and mix it into the very tasty but spooky and windy version of the song for release on my 2nd CD in 2002. The upload of that overdubbed CD-track is somewhere else on YouTube, enjoy! Might ask him some day to do the same with this one and see what he's coming up with. Probably something very good!

Love, peace and hope to all of you.
