Beethoven dedicated one of his most famous works - known today as the "Moonlight Sonata" - to Countess Giulietta (Julia) Guicciardi. His letters leave no doubt he was in love with her. Unfortunatly she did not have approval to marry Beethoven, Julia married Count Wenzel Robert Gallenberg (also a composer) but not famous. As the Guicciardis themselves were not wealthy, prudence forbade such a marriage.
In the first mouvement of this sonata, you can listen and feel the sadness of Beethoven.

Why have I posted this video? One day when I was playing the Fantesia Sonata, a dog near me started howling with pain. I have posted this video to remember this event because the Animals also have feelings. The dog felt the sadness of this music. It was very touching.
