This is a super-easy way to knit thrums into your mitten or slipper project. It's my first thrum project and I'm not finding it hard at all! It's as simple as this: Drop your working yarn. Insert your needle to knit. Use a 2 inch piece of unspun wool instead of yarn to knit the stitch. Pick your yarn back up for the next stitch, and knit on. On the next row/round, knit the thrums like regular stitches and give a little tug on the tails to tighten-up your thrums :)
