http://www.PatrickScottPatterson.com - Video game controversy has always existed in some form or another. Here are two news reports nearly a decade apart. Compare them to one another and to whatever controversy you are hearing about today and see how little has actually changed over time.

The first news report was on the CBS Evening News in 1982 and features a look at a ton of arcade classics including Donkey Kong, Scramble, Pac-Man, Tempest, Ms. Pac-Man and more.

The second news report focused on Mortal Kombat and originally aired on a young FOX News in 1993, starting an apparent trend for the network.
