Cape gannets fly off the coast of South Africa in search of the great sardine run, the biggest fish migration in the world. The birds dive into the ocean to feast as dolphins, also on the hunt, push the sardines toward the water's surface. It doesn't take long before bronze whaler sharks and bride whales join them. EARTHFLIGHT: Africa airs September 11 at 8/7c (check local listings) and is part of the 32nd Season of the Peabody and Emmy award-winning series produced by Thirteen in association with WNET for PBS. Major support provided by Canon U.S.A. Inc.
