Yesterday was more tablet related than today, today is more of a Verizon smartphone day but there was still a little tablet news.
So Verizon just confirmed the HTC Thunderbolt's price and release date. The price will be $250 when it starts shipping on March 17th. The specs are very similar to the HTC Evo 4G on Sprint and the Evo is just $200, so I think the price is a bit too high.
Verizon's new lineup of Motorola Android phones just got leaked with the new Droid 3, Droid X2, and Targa. All are running Android and they all look pretty nice, the X2 has a faster processor as we've already seen. The Droid 3 and Targa both probably have that same processor inside. The Targa is like a mix of the Droid X2 and Droid Bionic from the looks of it.
HP just announced that they're going to launch the HP TouchPad in early June. That's much better than the late summer release we've been expecting. It's going to go along with the HP Summit in San Fransisco. And HP also announced that webOS HP computers will be in beta by the end of this year. I'm starting to like HP's new CEO.
