For those who have never asked me, or who believe the people only leave the Mormon church because of sinfulness or shortcoming on the part of the individual--this is my story of why I left the Mormon church.

To answer some of the common comments/questions...

My shirt says "I'm not short, I'm fun size." Because I'm short.

I have continued researching Christianity and other religions, but still believe Christianity.

I did look at the Mormon perspective, and still research, and continue to find more reasons to stay away. Many of the things that cause me to find the Mormon religion to be false are based on Mormon-approved/published sources. Quite simply, no, I'm never coming back to the religion.

I do look young, but I promise, I was and adult when I was married, and I'd had a little bit of college when I got married. Perhaps I was young by today's standards, but certainly not too young.

My husband (then fiance) did believe in the church when he chose to get baptized, but he was under the impression that it was just a Christian religion. Being a good Mormon girl who was very concerned about being sealed, I was torn between my religion and the man I loved. But, I would not have left the religion for him, because I was worried about the eternal consequences. He caused me to research, but it was the research that caused me to leave.

Yeah, my laptop camera has bad quality. My subsequent videos have been recorded on a digital camera, which has to be propped up and all so its a little more awkward to use, but much better quality than this one. The background noises are my laptop being moody.

God bless!
