Here is the final part of my Spitfire Nerf Long Shot with my Air Stream Mod. Again, the basic concept is for the Air Stream unit to blast a high speed stream of air into the barrel giving the dart an added boost and fast current of air to ride on. It's still needs so improvement. The end results of the test firing were not specticular. The air stream was creating turbulence, or air leak, toward the rear, so the air not is not streaming in the forward direction only. I thinking of several solutions: (1) move the whole unit to the back further, closer to the bolt. (2). Insert a copper pipe in the barrel to decrease the barrel diameter, increasing the pressure. (3) Use a stronger fan unit. (4) Or all the above. I'll keep working on it, after I finish my FireFly - autofire mod.

At one point, some asked why I used the unmodded stock instead for a tricked out Long Shot. My idea was to use the stock LS to eliminate the variables, it is a control, any improvement would be the result of the Air Stream unit. If I can get the Air Stream Unit to work are a separate add on, it can be used with the Recon, also. Also, I really, my first thought was to do this on a Vulcan, but the Long Shot is a easier, and cheaper test bed. But, I still have my eye on installing a Air Stream in a Vulcan, If another Nerf modder want to try it, go ahead and give it shot. All I ask to is to credit me with the original idea and name the "Spitfire Air Stream Mod"

As I said, I'm going to put this aside for a bit and finish my Firefly mod. But, in the meantime, let me hear your comments. Enjoy.
