Regrettably, I cannot provide a better quality sample, YouTube just compressed the fine detail out of the image.
These are examples of chromakey pulls done with an electronic 4:2:2 video source (not quite full RGB in 4:4:4 colour space for a super-sharp original to pull the key from).
In these examples, done for the series on which I earned an Emmy & a Platinum Ava, you can see the teacher/actress/host against greenscreen, then a chromakey pull, followed by a digital cosmetic enhancement pass, and a split screen, followed with a final composite.
Budget: $0.00. 8 shows, 22 minutes long each, one Mac and a PC, one person - me. I did have some additional assistance towards the end, at crunch time, by a Mr. Cesar Varela, who helped to animate the show's sidekick in several episodes.
