Here Gary Lucas, "one of the best and most original guitarists in America" (Rolling Stone) is seen performing live on CNBC as part of a segment devoted to Gibson Guitar that aired July 2nd 2012 before a worldwide audience of 400 million viewers. Gary performs here on his 1946 Gibson J-45 and a late model Gibson SG, including excerpts from his original mentor Captain Beefheart's "Sure 'Nuff 'N Yes I Do", Gary's own arrangements of the Rolling Stone's "She's a Rainbow" and 30's Chinese pop diva Bai Kwong's "The Wall", and Gary's original composition "Rise Up to Be"--the instrumental basis of his late friend Jeff Buckley's "Grace".
