Ah, FE x DtE is always good. Well, ok, Seated with Liquor was their only album together, which is a shame since it's extraordinarily good. So, this arrange. I think it doesn't take a genius to guess why I love this arrange so much... aye, it got me after the first fifteen seconds. The beginning is just straight in your face, no questions asked no long build up, it's just THERE. And HOW. The riffs are fast and intense as hell, the drum is out of it's mind and Kakichoco's vocals are great great. Also, the tempo and general flow of the arrange is just top notch. Really, this is one hell of an arrange. Is there something I don't like... Nah, not really. Oh, wait, there is. This is a, get this, whitered leaf arrange. But I don't hearwithered leaf.
Also, surprise surprise, this is the only arrange this week without any screams. It's completely clean so to speak. Let's get into more detail. Like I said, the instruments are played pretty damn intense, no arguing about that. But with all the intensity, I like the fact that the arrange still keeps it's balance. Neither Kakichoco's voice is dominating nor are the instruments, they're, so to speak, in perfect harmony. Of course, in many metal pieces there's a few seconds without any vocals, but these seconds are very short in this one. Is there a part I particularly like... well, the beginning, the first 30 seconds or so really are outstanding imho, the rest of the arrange is great but has no real... peaks so to speak.
Also, the pic. I want to clarify now in case you're confused. Chen and Ran have a very strong bond, and so do Ran and Yukari, making them more or less stay by each other's side forever - see what I did there? Also, frankly - I don't know of any real badass or cool pics for Chen and this arrange almost qualifies for the tag. Actually, heck, I don't know of any pics of then alone that aren't cutesy. The one I used for Oath of Allegiance was pure luck in finding I tell ya. Short long story, I decided to go for the Yakumo Family.
