Albrecht Maurer plays a sound improvisation with gothic fiddle and voice. This piece called RUHE was performed in Cologne, January 2015 in Kunsthaus Rhenania. The fiddle has two identical D strings so that a rich unison sound is possible, especially together with a voice. In the 2nd half the fiddle plays double stops and the voice does glissando between that two notes. That creates difference tones in the very low register. – For more information file under http://www.albrechtmaurer.com – Alex Gunia - fixed video camera Heiko Specht - close ups
