Nothing gives you a warm, satiated feeling on Thanksgiving like a well-made, scrumptious dessert! In the final part of the series, you can watch how to add the finishing touches to your delectable home-made, easy as pie, apple pie recipe. The unexpected caramel addition to the apple pie recipe is a great surprise for guests.

To start making the apple pies, pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees. After adding the caramel apple filling to the base layer of the pie dish, seal the dish with the second disc of dough. Trim off the extra edges. Seal the edges with egg wash. You can also add the egg wash to the entire top surface and brush the surface with sugar for some extra color and flavor. Make some slits in the apple pies so the steam can escape from the pie.

Bake the pie for an hour till the crust of your apple pie recipe is crisp and golden. Drizzle some of the extra caramel over the top of the pie cuts for a perfect, flavorful caramel apple dessert!
