While WWI was being fought for the 'Freedom of Small Nations', imperial Britain did not think that Irish people deserved that right. In Dublin, on Easter Monay 1916 Rebels staged a rebellion against British Rule in Ireland and proclaimed an Independent Irish Republic.
Today the British armed forces still occupy 6 Irish counties and keep Ireland divided. Irish Republicans and supporters around the world must do everthing possible to ensure a United Ireland happens in our lifetime.
