Dr Koko Warner, Head of the Environmental Migration, Social Vulnerability and Adaptation Section at the United Nations University, talks about the work being done with the Government of Bangladesh, the Alliance of Small Island States (AOSIS) and a wider range of vulnerable countries on loss and damage from climate change impacts. This programme, supported by the Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN), and being carried out by Germanwatch, aims to support countries to further develop their positions on loss and damage in the context of the climate negotiations, exercise leadership on the issue and develop approaches for helping affected communities on the ground.
