A nice looking bream caught by my brother Eduard on London's Beckton Park Lake. It came on a method feeder rig with 5 maggots on a size 8 Drennan Starpoint hook. The most succesfull method on the lake, both for carp and bream. Very weird, only in rare occasions we have been catching mixed bags of the two species. Conclussion: Bream are feeding very different from carp. Also, I wish to assure all British anglers watching this movie that despite being "foreigners" we have been fishing always on a CATCH and RELEASE basis. Sorry for not using a fish mat/pad at the time we were filming this, but all fish returned safely back in the water. Also, we have always putting in shadow all British anglers fishing on boilies on that lake. At one time in 2004, I caught 9 carp in a 3 hours afternoon session, while on the opposite bank they have hardly seen one in their landing net! Yes, you've been "beaten" by a foreigner at your own game! Shame on you, boilies freaks!
