The new-term government will handle the quota issue for Mainland women giving birth in Hong Kong from next year, Secretary for Food & Health Dr York Chow told the media today. He said the current administration has been liaising with the Chief Executive-Elect for the past two weeks, and respects his view of suspending the quota system.
Dr Chow said there will be ample time for the new administration to deal with the issue after its term starts on July 1. ( http://j.mp/IXTsaP )
