Will the GTX 480 work with my CPU AMD Phenom II x4 965BE (consumes 125W) on 600W PSU? well they say that GTX 480 consumes around 290W, so under extreme load it uses 450W. 450W+125W=575W+ 4GB 800mhz ram should do?

That's a good idea :D

mmhm i have a 75% fan speed profile i pop on with a bound key whenever i need a 5 minute cool down while gaming.

Well if people had the fucking scene to turn the fuckin fan speed up there 480 would run very cool. it fucks me of so much when people say there card runs hot.

1-3 FPS LOSS most of the time for the GTX 480. Interesting. Without really checking around, I can get a GTX 480 for $209, while the 570 costs $269. Save $60, lose 1-3 FPS. Seems an acceptable trade off to me.

What do you mean? the 480 for 56fps and 570 got 58fps. Here let me break it down to you why this is an advancement in tech. GTX 480: Released March 20 2010, MSRP $499.99, 8-pin + 6-pin for power, gets up to 90 Celsius, causes 445 watt consumption average for the computer. GTX 570: Released November 9 2010, MSRP $349.99, 6-pin + 6-pin for power, gets up to 85 Celsius, causes a 400 watt consumption for the computer.
