Technicians: Nothing lasts forever, including hard working power steering fluid and hoses. Here is a quick way to show your customers why they need to flush their steering system and/or replace their steering hoses. Visual proof works best!

Using their own vehicle as evidence:
1) Use a syringe to siphon some fluid from the bottom of the power steering reservoir (0:47)
2) Release the power steering fluid into a coffee filter (0:53)
**If contaminants or dirty fluid is left on the coffee filter, the fluid needs to be changed.
