Diamond Notch Falls are found within The Catskill Mountain area in New York, USA. They are located at the eastern end of Spruceton Valley. The trailhead to reach Diamond Notch Falls is at the very end of County Road 6, which is off of State Route 42. The trailhead is not marked, but as I said it is at the very end of County Road 6. You'll see a metal gate across what appears to be an old roadbed. This is the start of the trail. The falls are about 3/4 mile from the start. It is a very nice hike up to the falls, as there are several smaller falls found along the creek walking upstream and you hear the water flowing, birds singing, and may even see a deer or other wildlife along the way . The hike is fairly easy and there are also trailheads to reach Hunter Mtn Fire Tower 4,040 ft summit (3.9 mi, 1way - rough, rocky & uphill), as well as the Diamond Notch ( a 2.5 mi hike round trip which goes to the point where Hunter Mtn and Westkill Mtn meet-didn't get to hike this one yet)
