This summer I returned to campF.R.E.S.H. in St Louis, a Fontbonne University kid's cooking camp. Jill spent a day with kids working in the garden, dancing, and cooking together to prepare for a Jump with Jill performance for their parents on their last day of camp.

campF.R.E.S.H, which stands for Family, Recreation, Education, Sharing, and Health is a culinary adventure of international cuisine, with each week-long day camp featuring a different continent with stops along the way to learn about the unique lifestyles of kids around the globe. They learn about teamwork and the benefits of physical activity through participation in each continent's popular sports and games. They discover how music, art and nature can enhance their own physical and emotional well-being, just as it does for kids all over the world. Field trips to the St. Louis Zoo gives campF.R.E.S.H. campers an opportunity to learn about the animals and geography unique to each location in our world tour. campF.R.E.S.H. is an opportunity for kids entering 4th through 6th grade to travel the world without leaving St. Louis.

Would you like to be a part of campF.R.E.S.H.℠ next year? For questions, please call Mary Beth Ohlms, Camp Director at (314) 719-8083 or email to mbohlms at fontbonne.edu.
