Blood Red Mach IIIs won by Mark Prue at the 2007 Am World Disc Golf Championships in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
06-22-2007 Groundbreaking for the course that will utilize the Blood Red Mach IIIs won by Mark Prue at the 2007 Am World Championships in Milwaukee, Wisconsin started in late 2007. The course, which will be named Rolling Ridge will be a private, championship level 18 hole disc golf experience. Access to the course will be membership based. Yearly memberships will be offered. Those that are not members, but want to play the course can pay to play, but must be accompanied by a member. Course amenities will feature a pro shop and full service bar. The bar will be strategically located after finishing hole 9 and again after hole 18.
Currently, there are 13 of the 18 baskets in the ground. Additional baskets are not being installed until their designated holes are 100% completed. The property is owned by Marks business partner on the Rolling Ridge project. They are diligently working on the course and hope to have all holes cut out by the end of the summer. The course is described as mostly wooded and tight, but with well defined fairways. There are a couple holes in the open. The course name comes from the lands rolling landscape that will make for some amazing golf.
