A video showing my progress on the TARDIS pop-up book. A pop-up book is really appropriate for the TARDIS because it is explicitly supposed to work by folding up space-time geometry inside itself.
I haven't glued on the covers yet because I'm still considering if I want to add other rooms to the book. I liked the episode "Journey to the Center of the TARDIS" so I thought I might include the library or the heart of the TARDIS included in that episode. This is just the main console room.
My favorite quote about the TARDIS is when the TARDIS is turned into a person and, noticing her own mind, says, "are all people like this? So much bigger on the inside?" It really captures the sense in the show of how everyone is important and worth trying to save.
I never watched many of the earlier episodes, so my whole experience of Doctor Who has been Matt Smith, pretty much. I'm sorry to see him go, but I have high hopes for the new incarnation.
