Pardee Hospital becomes first hospital in North Carolina to receive ISO accreditation for quality standards. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) accreditation is a rigorous process in which a hospital improves and monitors the delivery of patient care, measures quality, and places the highest priority on eliminating errors. ISO standards are used internationally in different fields including agriculture, construction, manufacturing, aerospace, medical devices and healthcare. "Pardee is extremely proud to receive ISO accreditation. Our mission is to provide quality, compassionate, and safe services to improve the health of the people in the communities that we serve and this accreditation validates our efforts," said Beth Long, Director of Quality Services at Pardee Hospital.
ISO standards are globally known and are considered the "gold" standard for all industries. The standards help Pardee to provide consistent patient care, ensuring that operational processes lead to both expected and improved patient outcomes.
