This is the final mastered version of the recording of Bumpkin: The Recording of Additional Dysfunction (2012). It is meant to give the viewer an inside view of Palmyra Studios, where I have recorded my last 2 releases. It is likely one of the best studios in the U.S., due to well-known engineer and studio builder Pappy Middleton, whose idea was to create an environment that in his own words "can make magic." To him, money was and is secondary to creating magic and a real feel for the music in the recording process. My mission here is to give people an accurate, no frills view of what goes on in the life of an independent recording artist inside the studio. Credits include: Paul (Pappy) Middleton as engineer/producer, Jerko Dabelic (lead guitar, lap steel, 6 six string banjo), Jason Manriquez (bass), Dan Underhill (drums), and Bumpkin (singer/songwriter/rhythm guitar). This film was created, edited, and mastered by Josh Hoover.
