Every artwork in the Biennale has a story behind it, a story of how it came to be. Of all the pieces produced on site, no story can compare to the sheer drama that went into the making of Bob Gramsma's 'riff off, OI#16238'. Bob Gramsma is a Swiss/Dutch sculptor and installation artist who lives and works in Zurich. The artist has been concerned with creating spaces and their inextricable connections to people. His sculptural and installation works raise the question of how space is conceived and how this has an effect on our consciousness.
