Excellent performance by Brian Duyn, who IS a professional. From his bio, he did not "miss his calling" as some said. He was in The Phantom of the Opera for 6 years in Toronto with 2,600 performances to his credit. He is a Professional Soloist, has recorded 2 CD's and has been on the radio all over the world.  It appears he is singing here with the Men's Chorus of the Waterloo Regional Police Service as part of a production (not Miss Saigon) that the Men's Chorus performed for charity called "Caught in the Act Part II". The "Wow/cool" part is that he is now a Homicide Detective with the Waterloo Regional Police Service. So, I guess his motto is "To Serve and Protect (and Entertain)".

I think he can sing. I personally disagree with his phrasing. I feel like sometimes he would rush through some of the most important words.

Great job!

wow he is amazing
He has to improve his phrasing. He takes away the emphasis on the emotional words and not expressing the proper emotion.

Talent lurks in many places. This man has a fine voice. Great performance.
Your definition is right on.

The crime rate in Waterloo must be very low for all these police to be so good at singing haha. I like to imagine that they all just sing songs over their CB radios while the dispatch narrates stories.
