USC's Baccalaureate 2011 featured Los Angeles Archbishop Jose Gomez as the keynote speaker and USC valedictorian Sarrah Shahawy (also president of the USC Student Interfaith Council) as the student speaker. The service, held May 12, 2011, also included musical performances from the SoCal Vocals, Summer Watson and Jeremy Schoenberg, and remarks from USC dean of religious life Varun Soni and USC president C. L. Max Nikias.

The USC Baccalaureate Ceremony, sponsored by the USC Office of Religious life and held in conjunction with Commencement, is an annual multi-faith celebration led by USC's religious directors, student leaders, musical groups and university dignitaries.
