Video of a first prototype of my dungeon crawler. It's based on an article about random dungeon generation I published on my page (http://www.saschawillems.de/?page_id=395), and this is the first 3D prototype that allows you to roam around those randomly generated dungeons. It uses OpenGL shaders for mulitple light sources and parallax (bump) mapping for simulating depth on flat surfaces. Collision and physics are handled by the newton game dynamics engine. I'm using a recent beta that has the character controller included, so doing the physics was pretty easy. I also use newton's raycast functionality for doing the visibilitychecks for unmasking the map.
