Bob Bryant just opened a new bike shop in the Uptown district of Port Townsend, WA. The family business is in the same location where the ReCyclery Bike Co-op had operated for two years. They sell new and used bikes, accessories, as well as offer service and repairs.

About Bob

Bob Bryant has been in the bike business since 1990, though he got his start tinkering with paperboy bikes in the late 60s, road bikes and fixed gear single speeds in the 70s, mountain bike / city conversions in the 80s. He became the leading expert on recumbent bicycles in the 90s & 00s, publishing 101 issues of Recumbent Cyclist News. When Bob's recumbent gig ended, he became reinspired after restoring several vintage Schwinns (we LOVE Chicago Schwinns!). Bob then started volunteering at the local bike coop (ReCyclery) in 2010 and became an employee in 2011 — specializing in refurbs and city bike conversions.

Bob's Bike

Personal Note: Yesterday, I walked into Bob's courtyard with a question about doing a repair on my wife's bike. Bob discovered the issue in a matter of minutes and sent me on my way. Quick, friendly service. I'm one happy camper!
