"Voting Schmoting" is an informative skit created by students in Awareness Through Performance (ATP) at the University of Wisconsin--La Crosse during the spring 2012 season. The skit challenges students to think about why voter turnout rates among college-age citizens (ages 18-24) are so low, and debunks some of the common excuses for why people don't take the time to vote. The skit concludes with a message of encouragement to students, to educate themselves about political issues and uphold the responsibilities of citizenship.
