We got out the 12 gauge Stoeger coach gun to assist with taking a look at the Centurion Buck and Ball multi-defense loads along with the Hornady ZombieMax buck shot ammo. The 2 ¾ Centurion loads contain one .650" round ball and 6 .30" number 1 buckshot pellets. The muzzle velocity is 1300 FPS. After cutting the shell open and taking a look at the ball it really gives you a feel for just how big it is, would defiantly use them for home defense if you are not worrying about over penetration. Also picked up a box of the ZombieMax 00 buckshot loads to try out, yeah, they got me with some marketing, but if I don't plan on buying out the whole store what does one box mean. The Hornadys contain 8 00 (.33") pellets blazing out the muzzle at 1600 FPS. I think I say 6 in the video, but there are 8 as shown when we test it out on our volunteer target. Was surprised on the tight group with the ZombieMax load and will have to do some testing on targets farther out. We finish off with some slugs at a melon, and some bird shot at a couple 2 liters just because you have to. There is nothing like a shotgun for some versatility.
