This video follows I-285 East, S.R. 141 North, S.R. 141 North Access Road, S.R. 140 West, and U.S. 19 South/S.R. 400 South, from Doraville, through Peachtree Corners, and Roswell.
Peachtree Corners is an affluent west Gwinnett County unincorporated area, which might become a city, with minimal city services, such as planning and zoning, code enforcement, and trash collection. Gwinnett County would still provide police and fire services, however. If Governor Nathan Deal signs some paperwork, residents of Peachtree Corners (unincorporated) would be able to vote for this referendum later on this year.
Roswell (which at one time was apart of Cobb County) and the other north Fulton County cities (Milton, Johns Creek, Mountain Park, Alpharetta, Sandy Springs, and maybe Buckhead) want to re-form Milton County, which dissolved itself during the Great Depression (along with Campbell County, which comprises much of south Fulton County south-southwest of East Point and Atlanta) to save money. The only way Milton County could be re-created would be if two counties merged together to form one county, or if an amendment to the Georgia constitution was made; currently, Georgia can have no more than 159 counties, which it has now.
