I took a CALB blue cell that was slightly weaker than the others in my pack and decided to simulate a puncture in an accident. The cell was fully charged, then discharged using a Turnigy charger. It showed 36ah, then took 30ah when I charged it back up. I shot it with a 3" framing nail.
