This is my recently finished 120-line mirror screw in operation. The frame bar seen here is an artifact.

This video was taken with my phone placed at the most favourable position though looking at it now, I wish I'd taken down the barometer! Move in too close to a horizontal mirror screw, and you see increasing numbers of tall thin pictures side-by-side.

The mechanical tolerances of a mirror screw working at 120-lines are very tight. Here, the final angular corrections to the individual reflective slats were carried out electronically by a Timing Corrector.

This unit was demonstrated in public at the NBTVA Convention in England in April 2017. You can take a detailed look at how the project developed at https://www.taswegian.com/NBTV/forum/... and take a peek at the stationary screw (well down the page) here: http://www.radiocraft.co.uk/restorati...
