"True peace is not merely the absence of tension; it is also the presence of justice."
Martin Luther King

"Be the Change you wish to see in the World."
Mahatma Gandhi

The inspiration for this project springs from the many 'World Days' which have been held over previous years, from various institutes.
Our aim is to bring the noble intentions from these events to a new level. That of experiencing meditation. We feel that it's time to actually encounter this dimension of inner peace, which will develope the positive qualities of understanding and tolerance, one towards another.

We feel that the above assumption may come true through theexperienceof Sahaja Yoga.

A form of meditation developed by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi (1923-2011), a unique and inspiring personality who has dedicated her life towards creating world peace and understanding among people.

The event which we are proposing is absolutely free of charge, as are all our activities.

Sahaja Yoga is a unique experience which brings us naturally into a state of enlightened mental silence in which conflict dissolves in the dimension of inner peace.

This initiative has its origins in what we perceive to be of universal value.

We propose to dedicate one day in the year to the universal principal of peace, by paying tribute to the inspirational figures who have embodied this message in recent years (From Gandhi to Martin Luther King to Nelson Mandela). Followed by a short meditation session.
