This is my newest student. This is his 2nd year at New Hope with the same teacher, and she knows there is something going on. He's extremely bright - but he's been struggling with his reading. She asked me to screen him for PI, but that did not help. I then asked him if he was left handed or right handed. When he said right, I figured he needed it turned to the left just like James. The difference was immediate and dramatic. He began to smile and hes reading was smoother and less labored. As you'll notice, he knows his letter sounds and is able to sound out unfamiliar words.
