Carlos Tevez discusses why he chose to play for West Ham over the other teams chasing him.
Tevez saying: "I think any player would like to play in this league, no? It's the same in Spain. I think it is a league with a lot of potential, the game is played at a very fast pace -- lovely football. I think it will be good for me to play in this league."
"For West Ham, it will be very important to me to do things well from the start. I am not worried about playing for a big club. We will try, me and Javier, to do our best for the club that has contracted us and do our best in the competitions."
"I said in a statement that my only regret was for the (Corinthian) fans. I would only go back because of them, but the directors showed a lack of respect towards me which is why I stopped going to training."
"A match against Brazil is always special because of the rivalry that exists between the two sides. (But) I have no resentment against Corinthians or towards the people (fans), who always supported me. This (match) is something special because it is a South American classic."
