'Progression' is the watchword for Big Sean going into his sophomore album. And how could it not be when a legend (and not to mention your mentor) like Kanye West tells you he wants you to be better than him?

Sean sat down with Mando Fresko to talk about the growth between his debut and his forthcoming album, including being inspired by a young fan to leave a big mark on the industry. He also touched on the birth of the G.O.O.D. Music posse cut "Mercy", a mixtape in the works with close friend Mike Posner, plus his relationship status and whether or not PETA can count on his pledge to not floss out in fur.
