September 19, 2012 - In a spectacuar marketing misfire, Craig - a known iPhone enthusiast since its inception - is tapped to do this bland, straight-up commercial for the Samsung Galaxy S3 smart phone. On air, in the middle of the show.
A skit with Craig being lured from his (unnamed) iPhone by the siren song of the S3 could have been very funny, even persuasive. Instead, in a far cry from the clever and entertaining Ford "Escape From Boredom" and "Highlanderz" promos of just a few years ago what, an Arthur Godfrey spot?
Come on CBS and Samsung, the S3 *is* a great phone, but this was both out of place and out of character.
