Damon Braces - Self Ligating Bracket

The most usual braces are stainless steel bonded braces which, in this practice, are Damon self-ligating braces. These are a relatively sophisticated appliance that holds the archwire into the bracket in a much more secure manner than “traditional” braces that require tiny elastic bands or very fine wire ties, both of which can break, causing delays to treatment.
