RIKEN Brain Science Institute - Summer Program / 理研脳科学総合研究センター・サマープログラム

The RIKEN Brain Science Institute "Summer Program" is designed to encourage and further the education of young neuroscientists and emerging researchers as they enter the international neuroscience community. It offers the choice of a two-month internship within a BSI laboratory, or an intensive two-week lecture course featuring distinguished international faculty. It is a rare and stimulating opportunity for young people from around the world to get together in Japan to advance their scientific knowledge.

理研脳科学総合研究センター・サマープログラムは、大学院生、ポスドクを対象に、最先端の研究をしている講師を各国から迎え、充実した脳科学の講義シリーズを提供するとともに、アカデミアのみならず、企業からの講演者、ジャーナル編集者など、参加者のキャリアアップにつながる講義も行います。研究室に所属して２か月間の研究プロジェクトを行うインターンシップコースと、２週間のレクチャーコースがあります。約50名の選抜された参加者は、同世代の学生たちと共に刺激を受け合い、親交を深めながら、脳科学について深く学ぶ夏を過ごします。
