Configuring Daylight Savings in Protege GX

In the coming weeks, regions in the northern hemisphere that observe daylight savings will be rolling the time back, and the southern hemisphere will be bringing it forward.

If you're in one of these regions, it's important to configure your controller to compensate for the change. This is especially important if you are using a time server as the time provided is always in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) which has no time zone and is not subject to daylight savings. If your controller is not programmed with a daylight savings rule, and is not set to the correct time zone, the controller time will be inaccurate.
